Is it really true only wineries can grow grapes, of course not. They can be grown by anyone and are one of the most widely produced fruits in the world. There are, however, many different types of grapes with some more suitable in the home garden than others. Marquis Seedless is a mid season, white seedless grape with large, spherical berries borne on large clusters. It has excellent flavor, good hardiness, and is best suited for home gardens. It was developed by a breeding program at Cornell University. Flowers of Marquis are self-fertile.
