Most new, unused merchandise can be refunded or exchanged with receipt within 90 days of the original purchase date, unless noted in our Return Policy Exceptions. Returns with a valid proof of purchase will be exchanged or refunded to the original method of payment, except as set forth by the following:

Except for permitted returns, all sales are final and may not be returned. The items for sale in Lowe’s Outlet Locations may have cosmetic damage or have been previously returned. Inspect your items thoroughly prior to purchase. Items eligible for return that were purchased from a Lowe’s Outlet may only be returned to the same Outlet; they may not be returned to a regular Lowe’s retail store or a different Outlet. Items purchased at a regular Lowe’s retail store may not be returned to a Lowe’s Outlet. To receive a refund or in-store credit, you must present a valid proof of purchase with your permitted return.
Lowe’s Outlet Locations will only accept returns for major appliances* items with mechanical or electrical damage or defects that deem the appliance non-functional. These items must be returned within 48 hours after taking possession of the item. Lowe’s Outlet Locations will not accept a return if the mechanical or electrical damage occurred after purchase or, if applicable, delivery. Lowe’s Outlet Locations will not accept any other returns, including, but not limited to, returns for cosmetic damage or insufficient size.
*Major Appliances – Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, ranges, hoods, dishwashers, over-the-range microwaves, cooktops, wall ovens, washer and dryer pedestals.
If you receive an order that arrives damaged, incomplete or in need of replacement parts, contact Lowe’s customer care at 1-800-445-6937 within three days of receiving the item to report the error or damage.
Please call Lowe’s Service Advantage hotline toll-free at 1-888-77-LOWES (56937) to set up a factory-certified service appointment in your home or for general assistance. If the repair is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, it will be repaired at no cost to you. For repairs not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, repairs may be offered by the technician at the customer’s expense.
Lost or stolen Lowe’s Gift Cards can only be replaced for the remaining balance by presenting the original receipt.
Army Post Office and Fleet Post Office ship-to addresses aren’t eligible for no-charge pickup.
These remedies are your exclusive remedies. All other remedies are hereby excluded. All warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly excluded. The exclusions herein are subject to, and may be limited by, applicable law, and you may have additional rights that vary from state to state.
Merchandise sold and shipped by Third-Party Sellers is subject to the same guidelines as merchandise sold and shipped by Lowe’s.
