Scratch-and-dent items are units that are damaged during shipment, storage or delivery. Scratch and dent describes minor to moderate cosmetic damage.

New: Products that are no longer carried at Lowe’s regular retail locations

Used: Returned and tested units

Except for permitted returns, all sales are final and may not be returned. The items for sale in Lowe’s Outlet locations may have cosmetic damage or been previously returned. Inspect your items thoroughly prior to buying them. Items eligible for return that were purchased from a Lowe’s Outlet may only be returned to the same outlet; they may not be returned to a regular Lowe’s retail store or a different outlet. Items purchased at a regular Lowe’s retail store may not be returned to a Lowe’s Outlet. To receive a refund or in-store credit, you must present a valid receipt with your permitted return.

Lowe’s protection plan is available to purchase for all Lowe’s Outlet appliances. For a Lowe’s protection plan, the coverage period begins on the date that you purchased the product or on the date your product was delivered or installed, whichever is later. The plan coverage period will continue for the length of time purchased by you as indicated on your sales receipt. Note: Manufacturer warranties eligibility may vary by item.
