Build a Stone Raised Planting Bed

Install 4 inches of paver base in the trench, leveling and compacting as you go.

Install the first block, making sure it's level side to side and front to back. You can add or remove some of the base material to aid in the leveling. You can also tap the block with a rubber mallet to help adjust.

Butt the second block up to the first one, and level the second block to the first one, adjusting as necessary. Continue adding blocks and adjusting until the first level is complete.

Start the second course by laying the first block on top of the second course, ensuring that the joint or seam isn't lined up with the joint of the previous course. The second course should be half way over the block on the first course.

Continue adding blocks until the second course is complete.

Once the second course is complete, install a bead of construction adhesive on the top of it. From there, install the third and final course on to the second course.
