Creating a Budget

Consider everything that you'd like to update, replace and/or add in your kitchen and use the following estimates to create a budget for your kitchen renovation project. Your total expenses can vary due to the kitchen's square footage, layout changes, and material costs.

According to the National Kitchen and Bath Association, a major remodel budget should be approximately 15-20% of your home's value. For example, if you have a $250,000 house, set aside a renovation budget of $37,500 - $50,000. A kitchen remodel can see up to an 85% return on your investment.
