Orange is the new White – Our New Activated Alumina Media is coated with iron and is orange in color. The new CFF2E-10 filters better over a broader pH range! Produces cleaner, better tasting water. Removes up to 93-percent: dirt and rust; soluble metals like fluoride, aluminum, lead, iron, mercury, copper; chemicals like chloramines, chlorine, VOCs, and many pharmaceuticals (microcontaminants) that create foul tastes and odors in your tap water. Does NOT remove calcium magnesium minerals, salts or TDS. This 5-micron multi-stage mixed-media filter contains: coconut shell granular activated catalytic carbon, activated alumina and KDF85 media, and uses channel blockers to ensure uniform filtration without channeling or dumping. Packed Tight – this Home Master purple filter canister is packed full of media, to provide the very best performance, the longest life, and the best value for your dollar. Settling may occur – media fines (orange, white or black) may be visible on the inlet pad due to the media settling. This will flush out during installation.
