This filter pack consists of one 10"x4.5" CTO carbon block filter(FC15B) and one 10"x4.5" iron and manganese reducing water filter(FM15B). Fits standard 10"x4.5” whole house water filtration systems. Using high quality coconut shell carbon and highly compact fabrication tech, iSpring CTO filter FC15B knocks out cloudiness as well as bad tastes and odors, removes up to 99% of chlorine, and is highly effective on Organic Compounds like herbicides and industrial solvents and other contaminants like trihalomethanes. 2nd stage filter (FM15B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (Max 3.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) and manganese (Max 1.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm). Together with 1st stage carbon block filter FC15B, this filter meets your water filtration needs to protect your family and household appliances from iron, manganese, and more. Individually sealed for freshness. Depending on source water quality, replace the filters every 6 months to achieve optimal performance. The system this filter pack works for is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home. Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water.
