Regal Geraniums, also known as Pelargonium, are one of the few geraniums that can be used either outdoors or as indoor houseplants, making them the perfect choice to brighten your home or garden with their eye-catching colors of bold florets. Regal Geraniums have a magnificent bloom color in shades of light to dark lavender patterned florets typically not seen in other geraniums. Give Geraniums as gifts or deck them out in your favorite decorative container. If you choose to plant your Geraniums outside wait until the last frost date in spring to pass. When choosing a location in your garden pick a spot that gets well drained soil, and space at least 6 inches to 2 feet apart. If planting geranium in a container, make sure the container has drainage holes. Then place the Geranium in a spot that is out of the wind but a sunny location.
For indoor use, Regal Geraniums require well-drained soil potting mixture and they dislike soggy or compacted soil; To maximize their blooming power, plants must have at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight
Geraniums provide a combination of showy blooms with pretty foliage; they like morning sun and afternoon shade
Remove plants from shipping packaging upon arrival, water if soil feels dry
Additional soil may be required based on type of decorative container size and volume
Feed with compost in landscape beds or with an all purpose fertilizer as needed in pots and containers; follow label instructions
