Noise Grabber Resilient Sound Isolation Clips are perfect for reducing sound travel between walls. These clips are designed specifically to decouple walls, increasing the space inside the wall and helping to lessen noise transmission through the wall. Decoupling of walls is the process of spacing the outer wall layer (gypsum board, wood, etc.) further away from the wall studs. This creates a gap between the two layers of a wall, allowing for noise to lessen in a number of ways. Noise Grabber Sound Clips are easy to install. Simply space the clips evenly on the studs in your wall, attach them through the center using a drywall or wood screw, and then install a furring hat channel (not included) into the clips. From there, you simply install your drywall on top of the channel as you normally would. Sound Clips are an effective method of sound dampening, and can be used by themselves as a stand-alone soundproofing option, or in combination with other soundproofing products, such as Mass Loaded Vinyl or acoustic insulation, for even greater sound reduction. Noise Grabber Sound Clips are designed from recycled rubber and metals, and have no odor. This package of sound isolation clips contains 10 individual clips, and are also available in various other package sizes.
