Solid Product, but delivered infested with moths

This is a great product, however it's too bad it was infested with moths by the time it got to me. Due to the number of moths that are starting to come out, it's clear they have laid their eggs all over this stuff. Not sure how Lowe's could have prevented this, but there had to have been a way. Docking a star due to this.

Great product, delivery terrible

Took 6 weeks and two no shows before finally delivered. Hard to schedule contractor when your product dont show up when the email says coming, and noting.

Effective and efficient

The product is easy to unpack and install, and it is less caustic to handle.

Incredible Insulation

We installed R23 Comfortbatt in exterior walls, R24 in our I-Joist floor platform, and R38 plus a layer of R15 in the attic of our new construction owner-built house. What a huge difference it made in thermal comfort of the house, even before the vapor control layer and drywall was in. Love the resistance to fire, water, mold, insects, etc. and our DIY install was easy!

Easy Installation and Very Quiet

I used the Rockwool R38 and R15 Comfortbatt in my garage build. I did a flash and bat method with 2" of spray foam and then the R15 Comfortbatt on the walls. Installation was easy and boy does it help knock the sound down. What a fantastic product!

DO NOT ORDER

I ordered 12 packs 3 weeks ago and they delivered the wrong size, so now I've lost 3 weeks and their only suggesting is to reorder and wait another 3 weeks for them to probably deliver the wrong stuff again. Didn't even offer free delivery to make up for their screw up.

Fargo's staff was great helping pickup my order.

Perfect for application but . . .

I don't need 12 bundles to complete my shed/work room. I need four and (pre-covid) purchased one bundle which I had time to install. If I purchased exactly what I need prior I wouldn't have the room for it.

Very Good Product

I installed about 650 square feet of insulation in my attic and was plesantly suprised with the ease of installation of the ROCKWOOL Comfortbatt (R-15) material. I placed Comfortbatts in between the ceil joists (full dimesional 2x4 on 16 centers). I then placed rolled R-30 Fiberglass, perpendicular to the joist direction. Comfort Batt

Once I started demolition I noticed the old insulation and it was wasn’t up to standard. I used the ROCKWOOL Comfort Batt insulation to bring the kitchen up to the building code. Easy to use and the home already feels better.

Best Insulation

I have used Rockwood in my exterior walls, interior walls, floor joists and most recently in the walls of my campervan. It is easy to work with, excellent for sound proofing, provides better fire protection and does not saturate with moisture. Best Insulation product for people who want the best Insulation with few trade offs.

Basement rim joist insulation

Worked on removing and replacing the orig. fiberglass batt insulation in the basement. I chose the Rockwool Comfortbatt R15 batt since it appear to be a better product than replacing with new fiberglass batts. I think the Rockwool product was sightly more expansive, but I found it easy to work with. We'll see how good are the energy savings over time.
